MEET THE OWNER
Dorthea Johnigan, a proud native of Tyler, Texas, is the devoted mother of two and a grandmother of four. With a warm spirit and a heart for service, Dorthea has always been known for her gifted hands, whether offering compassionate care or baking pastries in her free time.
After more than 20 years at Carrier Corporation and 15 years in the homemaker and companion care field, Dorthea followed her calling and stepped out on faith to become an entrepreneur. In September 2017, she founded Hands of Love, LLC, a homemaker and companion care service rooted in compassion, dignity, and purpose. Dorthea remains dedicated to enriching lives through compassionate care, delivered with warmth, respect,
and a genuine heart to serve.
